OMG - it is done. I can hardly believe it! The excitement is a little subdued, I must admit. The exam was a formidable threat and it has left many scars and wounds that will take a while to heal. With all that said, I have few words to express what I felt, but I will now write down those few words (they represent my feelings at different stages of the exam).

Before the exam: Pissy-Pants nervousness
During the exam: Frenetic panic
After the exam: Diabolical silence

(I will move to have the term "pissy-pants" included in Webster's as an adjective)

Nevertheless, the partying will now be boundless (until finals come around). I am formally re-entering the party scene. So...watch out!

There are no more than 8 days left for my MCAT. And I am no more nervous than I was about a week ago - maybe a little less. Like a warrior facing a battle, I am trying come to terms with my daunting task. Instead of resting my mind for the next week, I will keep practicing every stroke of my sword, every breath exerted - till the very end, till perfection. I will literally go into the exam flailing my sword and wielding my shield high above my shoulders - and maintaining my phalanx at all costs.

Since my MCAT is about 11 days away, I will write some famous quotes from movies:

"Tonight we dine in hell"

"What we do in life, echoes in eternity!"

So today I learned about sexual anatomy and reproductive cycles. Reading the menstruation section and studying it took me a greater part of 3 hours. So not only am I inept at figuring out women, it also takes me forever to learn the already elucidated processes of sexual activity in women. Perfect.

There is so much aggravating information in my head right now that I am going to lay out the more irritating pieces of it below - just to get it out of my system.

I do not understand what direction this country is headed in, but I can tell you it's not a very good one. I think everyone agrees with that, but not the solution to the problems - the problems that are land mines in our future. As a noob citizen of this country, I have decided to exercise my civic duty - and criticize the wrongs by flailing my arms wildly while burping the Bill of Rights. The whole Karl Rove thing, the firing of the attorneys,  has given me a rude - yet interesting - reminder of American government. Justice must be done I say - and to the bottom of this we must get (and not in sneaky ways like not having a transcript of testimonies and not having people under oath - rubbish I tell you)!

The cricket world cup 2007 is about to go into the super-8 round, but what has marred this impressive benchmark for the teams is the sudden death - no murder! - of Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer. Pakistan lost to a horribly inexperienced team (Ireland) and was subsequently kicked out of the world cup. The next day, Bob Woolmer was found in his room covered in blood and vomit - which the police have confirmed was a result of asphyxiation. What is the larger problem? Cricket has become so much more about the money - the rights to this world cup were sold to ESPN for $1.1 billion. The event is so hyped up in South Asian countries that failure is seen on the same level as treason - fans react angrily, attacking the players' family. Playing cricket is like going to war - and because of this, some lunatic killed a highly respected coach.

That seems to be good enough for the moment. Oh on another note, a friend of mine and I are planning on going to Peru for spring break 2008 - just to visit. Lemme know if you are interested.

Recently, i have discovered i am going through a quarter life crisis. Life's complexities are already overwhelming me and I don't know how to respond. It's like being somewhat blind stumbling along the path. I need to stop and smell the roses.
